Wire decks constructed with strengthened channels and metal girds are widely used in pallet racking systems. Matched with different types of beams, different kinds of wire decks are selected to provide an auxiliary bearing for products. In step beams, standard waterfall wire decks are the obvious options. While for box beams and structural beams, universal flared wire decks are a better choice.

Universal flared wire decks are designed with flared flat channels and waterfall edges. The end of the channel is flared style which can rest on the beams steady and firmly covered with waterfall meshes. A typical wire deck will have 3 or 4 channels and more channels will give more strength to the wire decks.
